Jacque asked:

I have a Maytag washer and a Kenmore dryer both were purchased new and are about 8 years old. I have the opportunity to receive a used Gibson washer and matching dryer, but I know nothing about the Gibson brand. Are they reliable? What company manufactures them? Are they still being made? Should I risk replacing my older but still reliable machines with these Gibson appliances? Thanks. jacquegriff

I don’t know about Gibson washers as I have never had any Gibsons to wash. If I had Gibsons and they needed cleaning I guess I would send them to a reputable Gibson Cleaner.
