I have been using a gas dryer for about a year and it finally crapped out. I purchased another gas dryer and it has now bit the dust. I don’t care about the monthly operating costs at this point, I just want a reliable dryer that will be gentle on clothes. I was told that a gas dryer typically runs hotter but I don’t want heat to wear my clothes out. I also have gas and 240V outlets.

Dryers do better job at maintaining correct temps would recommend something with temp control and moisture sensing.
