d_day3000 asked:

I have a Maytag MD9206 gas dryer and recently it has stopped heating up. I have checked the gas, fuses, circuits, and all of that. I have also vaccumed out the vents and everything else, so I know that’s not it. I am getting no flame or ignition at all, so I am thinking it may be a problem with the ignitor. Does anybody know where the ignitor’s are typically located on Maytag gas dryers, and how I would get to it to change it?
Thanks!
We were both right…there was a G in there, but it was also a 9. The model number is mdg9206aww. I found the ignitor, pulled it out, and it was snapped in two, so I’m guessing that was the problem! haha! Thanks for helping!

It’s right next to the burner, look on the back, there should be a removable panel.
If not you’ll have to take the back off.
