Why do dryers dry better after the first load? This NOT a brand specific problem?

just had to ask 1 asked:


This has happened to me for several years with several different brand named dryers. Doesn’t seem to matter whether or not it’s gas or electric. Also, it seems like if there is lint in dryer, it works better.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch.
